Our current theme: The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9).
Even though we planned on being far away from San Diego when Future Quest came around this year, it turned out that God had other plans. Just like old times, we both spent most of the week at church, helping to prep and enjoying the usual shenanigans that happen during crunch time.

Bonuses of the week – we finally got to try Sabrina’s amazing sourdough bread that we’ve been drooling over on social media, plus I got to see my bestie, Laura! She and Rylan made the trip out from AZ so that he could attend the conference.

Future Quest was awesome – I think we enjoyed it even more than usual, knowing that we’d thought we’d have to miss it. It is literally one of the greatest things to see so many students impacted by the presence of God over the three days.

Lastly, newest news on the RV is that they finally finished removing the engine on Thursday. After they inspect it, they’ll send it up to CAT in Rancho Bernardo for repairs. No timeline available, so we still have no idea when we’ll be back on the road. We’re so so grateful, though, to have a wonderful place to stay and lots to keep us busy while we wait!

Wow! Just wow, you two. You have definitely taken that off our bucket list.
Hope you have a great 4th.
It’s Bella’s 4th birthday today. Bella and Bärli say hello.
